BoxVolume App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the BoxVolume mobile app ("BoxVolume", "we", "us") handles information when you use it on Android or iOS. BoxVolume is a 3D box-packing calculator. It works without an account, and the boxes, items, and packing history you create stay on your device.
Data stored on your device
BoxVolume saves your data locally on your device using its on-device database and app preferences. This includes the boxes and items you create, your saved library, your packing history, and your settings such as units and language. This data is never transmitted to us — we operate no account system and no server that receives it. It stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
BoxVolume is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads, AdMob may collect and process device and advertising identifiers and limited device information. Depending on your consent and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we show a Google-certified consent message before any personalized ads. On iOS, we also ask permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any cross-app tracking. You can change your choice at any time from the app's Settings, and you can decline tracking and still use every feature.

Purchases
BoxVolume may offer optional in-app purchases, for example to remove ads. Purchases are processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play); we never receive or store your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements. RevenueCat processes your purchase receipt and a randomly generated app-user identifier so the app knows what you have bought. It does not receive your name, email address, or payment card information.
Information shared with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. The only data that leaves your device is what these service providers need to function:

Children's privacy
BoxVolume is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored only on your device, it is kept until you remove it. You can delete individual items, clear your packing history, or uninstall the app to remove everything. See our Data Deletion page for full instructions.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of personalized ads at any time from Settings, delete any data you have created, and uninstall the app to remove all on-device data. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights over personal data processed by our advertising and purchase providers; their privacy policies describe how to exercise those rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
